Join us on Praslin, to experience the Seychelles islands as we do. We harvest our own fruits and have our local fisherman deliver the best the ocean has to offer. At Chalets Cote Mer Hotel we love to share with you our creole way of life.

Our hotel has different types of rooms for guests to choose from. The Ocean View Rooms have private balconies. The Suites are bigger at 80m2 and have a private kitchenette and living room. These are great for families or groups with young children. Lastly, we have 2 or 3 bedroom villas that are 180m2 and sit on a 500m2 property. They offer a lot of space and privacy for guests who want to have a comfortable stay.

Come dine at our waterfront restaurant and enjoy delicious local cuisine made with fresh ingredients from nearby farms. Whether for a romantic dinner or a get-together with friends, we offer great food and a breathtaking bay view.

Restaurant

Breakfast – Daily between 7.30 – 9.30

We serve a continental breakfast which can be taken between 07.30 – 09.30. If clients leave the hotel earlier than our breakfast time and they require early breakfast clients are asked to inform the reception a day in advance.

Lunch – Daily between 12.30 – 14.30

We serve a small selection of sandwiches, salads and local dishes during lunch. Lunch at our pool is also available.

Dinner - Daily served from 19.30

Our restaurant serves a different set menu every evening that consists of a starter, a main course of a choice of meat or fish and a dessert. During our dinners service, we do not offer a la carte services.

No Room Service

We do not provide room service. If clients require cutlery or plates, we ask that clients visit the restaurant where our staff will assist you.

Gala Dinners

A supplement is to be paid directly to the hotel for guests on Half Board for gala events (Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day and Easter Day).

Beach Towels – CLIENTS ARE ADVISED TO BRING THEIR OWN BEACH TOWELS

The hotel does not provide beach towels as we do not have a beach. We provide Pool Towels only as we have a Pool. These pool towels should however not be removed from the Hotel.

Our Superior Rooms welcome adults and adolescents of 12 years and above. Children below the age of 12 cannot be accommodated in our Superior Rooms.

Our Superior Rooms are approximately 45m2 large with each having a private balcony with ocean view, and ensuite living room and ensuite bathroom. Our Superior Rooms all have sea views, have one king size bed, one single bed, are air-conditioned, and equipped with hair-drier, toiletries, safe, coffee & tea making facilities, cable TV and free WIFI.

Bed size: 1 king size bed (180cm x 200cm) & 1 Single bed
Note: Room Vacoa has partial sea view, which is partly obstructed by the building opposite.
Max No of pax: 3 adults. Children below the age of 12 are not allowed.

Children of all ages allowed. All Apartments are 80m2, have a balcony with ocean view. The apartments have a double king-size bed, a side room (closed by a curtain) with a bunk bed (which can sleep 1 adult & 1 child or 2 children), an extra single bed, an equipped kitchen and living room. Note that the occupants of the main bedroom have to access this side room for the bathroom and toilet.

Praslin is the second largest granite island in the Seychelles, about 40 kilometers away from the main island of Mahé. With a small population of over 7,000 people, the island is a heavenly paradise imbued with some of the most impressive and unspoiled natural beaches and tropical landscapes in the world.

Praslin is home to fascinating attractions such as the Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where you can spot the Coco de Mer – the world’s heaviest nut, from trees almost 400 years old – and the black parrot, the world’s rarest bird, only to be found in Seychelles. Just a few minutes away from the resort, you can marvel at the world renowned Anse Lazio, famed for its idyllic beach setting of white sand and turquoise water framed by lush vegetation and dramatic granite formations.
