  • Anse Intendance (South-West) :
    Very popular with surfers due to its impressive waves, the bay of Intendance is ideal for swimming at low tide and at certain period of the year when the sea is not too rough. However special precaution must be taken due to strong and unforeseen undercurrents.
     
  • Anse à la Mouche (South-West) :
    Calm, isolated bay with crystal-clear waters, recommended at high tides.
     
  • Anse Royale :
    At the end of steep, winding coast road, the bay of Anse Royale appears like a mirage with its white sandy beach and turquoise blue water with Souris Island, in the background. Very popular and ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
     
  • Anse Takamaka :
    Spectacular sunsets can be observed from this wonderful beach on where surfers flock as soon as the first waves appear in the distance.
     
  • Beau Vallon :
    This very popular beach stretching on almost 2km, is also famous for a wide range of water-sports activities in its calm, warm, turquoise waters.
